Saskia den Boon has been promoted to marketing coordinator, school and library for Candlewick Press, Holiday House, and Peachtree, from marketing assistant, school and library.
Macmillan Children's Publishing Group has two new hires. Phil Buchanan is joining as associate art director; previously he was a senior designer at Disney-Hyperion. Samantha Knoerzer has joined Odd Dot as assistant editor; she had been an editorial assistant at Union Square.
Chooseco has one promotion and one new hire. Lizzi Middleman has been promoted to associate publisher; she will continue as marketing director and will now oversee both marketing and editorial, along with CEO and publisher Shannon Gilligan. Samantha Ferguson is joining as director of sales; most recently she was associate director of gift and specialty sales at Quarto.
