Bomb’s Small Press Flea Returns to Brooklyn

Bomb magazine will host its annual all-day Small Press Flea at the Amant, a contemporary art center in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on Saturday, August 16. The market is dedicated to supporting independent publishers and small presses from across the country, and will showcase and sell their books, zines, and related merchandise.

Participating publishers include Archipelago, the Baffler, n+1, e-flux, Verso, World Poetry, Jewish Currents, and Ugly Duckling Presse, among others.

The event will also host a variety of workshops, an exhibition by Copenhagen-based artist Esben Weile Kjæ, and a night market from 5 to 9 p.m., with DJ sets, complimentary cocktails, and food for purchase.

Bomb’s inaugural Small Press Flea was held in the backyard at Unnameable Books in 2013 with a dozen publishers. Since then, the event has grown its roster to encompass more than 30 presses.
