Wendy Sherman Associates Marks 25 Years with Internal Moves
Wendy Sherman Associates (WSA) is marking its 25th anniversary with the appointment of a new VP and the addition of a new agent.
WSA has named Cherise Fisher as VP after more than 10 years at the boutique literary agency. In her new role, Fisher will continue working with her “highly curated list of clients,” including Tia Williams, Dave Tarnowski, and Dr. Treva Lindsey. Prior to WSA, Fisher’s 30-year career included editing positions at Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster.
CeCe Lyra, previously of P.S. Literary Agency, has also joined WSA, effective August 11. At the agency, Lyra will represent adult fiction across genres and nonfiction that “focuses on paradigm-shifting takeaways” in psychology, wellness, health and medicine, self-development, pop culture, and women’s issues, according to a press release.
“These recent changes reflect our commitment to our beloved authors, the publishers we are proud to collaborate with, and the dynamic community of readers we serve,” Sherman said.
