‘Call Me By Your Name’ Graphic Novel Lands with Faber

Faber associate publisher Louisa Joyner acquired world all-language rights to Sarah Maxwell’s graphic novel adaptation of André Aciman’s Call Me by Your Name from Claire Paterson Conrad at Janklow & Nesbit UK. Faber is publishing in the U.S. and has sold pre-emptive deals in nine additional territories.

In her “sundrenched” comic adaptation, Maxwell retells the story of the summer romance between Elio, an Italian teenager, and Oliver, a visiting American scholar, according to the publisher, calling it “one of the greatest love stories of our time.” Publication is slated for August 11, 2026.
