
NYCC 2025 Professional Programming Announced
ReedPop has announced the professional programming schedule for New York Comic Con 2025, which will kick off on October 8 at the Javits Center in New York City and run through the end of the show, on October 12. The programming will be held in the Javits’s River Pavilion, and will include:
- A Comic Book Retailer’s Day on October 8, featuring four hours of publisher presentations, panel discussions among industry veterans, and talks from star creators Jim Lee and Todd McFarlane
- The Comic Industry Mixer on October 9, starting at 7:45 p.m. and featuring presentations by Patrick Brower and W. Dal Bush, owners of Chicago’s Challengers Comics + Conversation; comics writer Tom King; and Courtney Menard, director of production at Tiny Onion
- The New York Public Library’s full day of programming for librarians and educators, on October 9, which includes such panels as “¡Wepa! Puerto Ricans in the World of Comics,” “Misogynoir and Multiverses: A Black Girl's Guide to Fandom Culture,” and “Creepy, Crafty & Curriculum-Ready: Spooky Stories for Classrooms, Libraries & Beyond!”
- The PopCultr Marketing Summit on October 10, with sessions on live engagement and events, tabletop games, and anime
- The annual Harvey Awards ceremony, on October 10
