The Watermark Agency Expands
The Watermark Agency, a San Francisco–based literary agency founded in 2021 by Mark Tauber, has added three new team members and launched a speakers bureau representing eight clients.
The additions include Lynn Grady, who joins as VP and literary agent, working in New York. Grady previously worked as SVP and deputy publisher at William Morrow, publisher of Dey Street Books, and group publisher at Chronicle Books.
Pete Mulvihill, who is known to the industry as co-owner of the San Francisco Bay Area bookstores Green Apple Books, joins as an agent. Mulvihill has already completed his first deal, selling the children's board book ABC Dim Sum by Karen Wong to Nick Magliato at Penguin Workshop. He will continue his work as a bookseller as well.
Finally, Lily McMahon joins as a literary associate based in San Francisco, coming from Bloomsbury Publishing in London where she served as assistant editor.
