Veteran bestselling author Sidney Sheldon is one of the few of his ilk to boast two major publishers for each new book, and the old combine of Morrow and Warner will get together once more to do his next thriller in, respectively, hardcover and paperback. The U.S. rights deal was worked out by the companies' chief execs, Michael Morrison and Larry Kirshbaum, with agent Mort Janklow, and the fruits of their joint efforts will be a new thriller called Are You Afraid of the Dark? In addition, Warner alone will offer both hard and soft versions of a Sheldon memoir called The Other Side of Me.
