Gary Todoroff has joined Lonely Planet as U.S. trade sales director. Todoroff has been involved with sales and marketing for 30 years, including a 10-year stint with Publishers Group West, where he was senior v-p and director of sales. He most recently served as sales director, western region, for American Book Company. Todoroff, who succeeds Heather Harrison, will report to Lonely Planet U.S. president Todd Sotkiewicz.
