Stephen King has lots to celebrate this week. On November 19, he will receive the National Book Foundation's Medal for Distinguished Contribution to American Letters. And today his latest bestseller, Wolves of the Calla (The Dark Tower, Book 5), lands in the #2 spot on our list. It has 785,000 copies after four printings; first printing was 600,000. There are two more books still to come in the Dark Tower series, which spans 30 years; they're scheduled for 2004.
