As long as we are on the subject of mega-mega bestsellers, Robert T. Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad has enjoyed a run of four years on the New York Times bestseller list and spent 188 weeks on PW's trade paper charts. Some 20 million copies have been sold worldwide—with translations in 41 languages and distribution in about 80 countries. Written with Sharon Lechter, the book began publication life in the late 1990s as a self-published book. The Rich Dad series, now published by Warner, has been the inspiration for other Rich Dad products, including a board game,Cashflow 101.
