Pat Wroclawski passed away on March 20, after a long illness. She was 78. Wroclawski managed the Chestnut Court Book Shop in Winnetka, Ill., for 15 years, then ran the children's department at the flagship Krochs and Brentano's store in Chicago until it closed in 1995. She returned to the renamed Bookstall at Chestnut Court as a consultant. She was one of the founding board members of the Association of Booksellers for Children. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Evanston, 516 Church St., Evanston, Ill.
